For example, if you Google “pizza place in New York,” the first result is going to be pizzerias in New York that have done SEO. But does your business need it?

If you’re a med-spa selling botox in Santee, CA – there’s barely any competition. No – you wouldn’t need SEO. (there’s basically no competition in this area)
Now, let’s give a plot twist to the “NO” answer above. Say you’re a med-spa in Santee and want to rank for a broader audience – YES, I’d say to target the main city San Diego, CA! In this example- yes – we’d target SEO and want to be the best in San Diego.
